Framing, drywall and paint, straight and flat
Straight walls and flat ceilings make every finish that follows look better. We frame, board, tape and paint as part of our own renovations, and on their own for basements, new walls and repairs.

Drywall & Framing done properly
Framing sets everything else up: square corners for cabinets, blocking for grab bars and televisions, bulkheads that hide ductwork neatly. We frame with the finished room in mind.
Drywall is hung, taped and finished to the level the room needs, with smooth transitions at ceilings and corners, then primed and painted. We also install suspended ceilings where access to services matters.

Built for our climate
Vapour control matters
On exterior walls in a cold climate, insulation and vapour control have to be detailed properly or moisture ends up inside the wall. We do it before the drywall goes up.
Dry air and drying time
Mud and paint behave differently in very dry or cold conditions. We keep the work area at the right temperature so finishes cure properly.
Drywall & Framing: common questions
Do you take drywall-only jobs?
Yes, when it fits the schedule, particularly as part of a basement or a larger project. Call either office to ask.
